I use Movable Type for content management and archive generation. I am using the following MT plug-ins: MT-Blacklist, MT-Textile, and Smarty Pants.
I have implimented a robot trap similar to the one here to catch ill-behaved robots. There is a hidden link somewhere on the page which only a bad robot will follow. Anyone following it will be banned from the site.
While I am not a zealot about it, I like standards compliant browsers and web sites. This site's main page is XHTML 1.0 Transitional compliant. (Archive pages may or may not be because of comments.) This seems like a good place to recommend my favorite web browser, Mozilla. If you want a standards compliant browser with lots of goodies (like pop-up blockers, cookie managers, and mouse gestures) or a pretty good mail client with built in Bayesian spam filtering, Mozilla is my choice.
